THEME
Distance Education Technologies include
Intelligent Technologies which are computable mechanisms to enable automatic
educational systems, Communication Technologies which allows on-line
discussion and Content Technologies which help users to
integrating/accessing heterogeneous learning content.
SCOPE
This special session covers some important aspects of Web-based Learning and
related technologies, especially in Ubiquitous or Pervasive Environment. The
technical issues to be addressed include, but are not limited to:

MANUSCRIPT FORMAT
Not to exceed 6 single-spaced and two-column 8.5 x 11-inch pages (including
figures, tables and references) in 10-12 point font.
Include an abstract, five to ten keywords, the technical area(s) most
relevant to your paper, and the corresponding author's e-mail
address. Please download ICS official style file in DOC format following the
link http://ics2008.csie.tku.edu.tw. Submissions
should represent original, substantive research results. We will not accept
any paper which, at the time of submission, is under
review for or has already been published (or accepted) for publication in
another conference or journal venue.

SUBMISSION DETAILS
Submitted papers will be carefully evaluated based on originality,
significance, technical soundness, and clarity of exposition. All
papers will be refereed by at least two members of the program committee.
