The 2008 International Computer Symposium (ICS 2008) would be held from November13-15, 2008 at the Tamkang University, Damsui, Taipei, Taiwan. The 2008 Workshop of Digital Content, Digital Life, E-learning, Web Service, and HCI intends to provide a forum for researchers, educators, and professionals to exchange their discoveries and practices and to explore future trends and applications related to digital Content, Digital Life, Web Service, and HCI to the field of E-learning.

 

Digital Content, Digital Life, Web Service, and HCI have a prominent place in E-Learning.

Digital Content, web service and HCI technologies have realized the digital life which people can learn from anywhere, anyplace, and anytime. In order to provide a better quality of e-learning, pedagogy of digital content design and human computer interaction design are concerned in the development of digital product. With the advance in Digital Content, Digital Life, E-learning, Web Service, and HCI technologies the educational media are becoming more individualized, portable and mobilized, thus the diversification of instructional strategies are become more possible.

 

Your participation and presentation at the workshop would be an excellent opportunity for you to meet e-learning content development faculty members, instructional designers, graphic designers, and others involved in the building of digital learning objects and learning experiences.

Call for Contributed Papers

Contributors are encouraged to submit their submissions electronically as a PDF copy. Papers must be written in ENGLISH and not exceed 6 single-spaced and two-column pages using at least 10 point size type. The instructions of electronic submission will be posted on the website http://ics2008.csie.tku.edu.tw together with the style files.
